Pakistan will leave for Zimbabwe for a multiple formats series in the next month. The series will consist of two tests and three T20Is. The whole series will take place in Harare Sports Club. This is the first international series of Zimbabwe post COVID 19 pandemic. Moreover, the whole tournament will happen without any spectator. The Twenty20 series will be played from Apr. 21-25. On the other hand, the Test series will be happening on Apr. 29-May 3 and May 7-11. Zimbabwe is excited about the series as they get a big chance to play against a good team after the pandemic.

Zimbabwe Will Host Pakistan In a Bilateral Series

Pakistan will be busy in South Africa in the first half of April. They will play 3 ODIs and 4 T20Is against the Proteus. After that, they will fly to Zimbabwe on April 17 from Johannesburg.

The Pakistan Cricket Board has been at the forefront of the revival of international cricket in the post Covid-19 world and the tour of Zimbabwe is another step in that direction. We have always maintained that cricket and Covid-19 can co-exist in a safe and secure environment, and we continue to demonstrate this to ensure the game develops and flourishes in these difficult and challenging times.

PCB director of international cricket, Zakir Khan, said in a statement on Sunday.

Furthermore, Pakistan managed to win all the 14 T20Is they’ve played against Zimbabwe. It also won the 10 out of 14 Tests they’ve played against this African nation.

At the beginning of the year, Pakistan women’s team was about to leave for Zimbabwe. But, they’ve faced some travel issues which ultimately led to cancel the series.
