Bangladeshi cricket superstar Mashrafe Bin Mortaza played in IPL back in 2009. He was bought by KKR at a price tag of 600,000 USD. In his debut match, he played against Deccan Chargers. Though he tried hard and soul, he did not manage to play well on that day. As a result, he never got a chance again to play in that league.

Abdur Razzak

Abdur Razzak:

Razzak is considered one of the best bowler in Bangladesh. He is the first Bangladeshi player to take 500 wickets in first-class cricket. He is also the first Bangladeshi player to take part in IPL from its inauguration. Royal Challengers Bangalore bought him for USD 50000. In his debut match against Rajasthan Royals, he did not manage to play well. For that, he was never called again to play.

Tamim Iqbal:

Muhammad Tamim Iqbal Khan, the left-hand opener of Bangladesh cricket team was signed by Pune Warriors in 2012 IPL. However, it was a shame that he did not get to play a single match in 2012 and 13 for them. It was sadly the end of Tamim’s IPL career. However, he is still playing very well for his motherland in national and international games.

Shakib Al Hasan

Shakib Al Hasan:

No doubt he is the best cricketer ever played for Bangladesh cricket team and one of the finest player in the IPL history. From his debut in 2011, he is a regular player in IPL. As one of the best allrounder in the world, he did very well in batin and bowling. Till now he played 63 matches and allocated 746 runs and 59 wickets. He has played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad.

Mohammad Ashraful

Mohammad Ashraful:

As a top-class batsman of our nation, Mohammad Ashraful also represented Bangladesh along with Mashrafee in the second session of IPL. Mumbai Indians(MI)bought him for USD 75000 in the auction. He played just one game though in which he scored only two runs facing 10 balls. That was his only match of that season and remains to be his only IPL game.

Mustafizur Rahman

Mustafizur Rahman:

Cutter Master Mustafiz,( commonly known as the “FIZZ” in IPL) is the pace bowling sensation of Bangladesh played who has been playing outstanding cricket from in his debut in IPL back in 2016. He was drafted by Sunrisers Hyderabad in that session at a price tag of INR 1.4 crores. He was one of the biggest hit of that tournament and with 17 wickets in 16 matches and the best economy rate of 6.90 for his team. Mustafizur’s outstanding bowling brought his team victory in that year.

In 2017 for his toe injury, he played only one match for them. Later In January 2018, he was bought by Mumbai Indians at 2.2 crore INR. he played 7 matches wearing the jersey of MI and took 7 wickets. Due to a hairline fracture, his tournament got cut short again. Bangladesh cricket board did not give him NOC for 2019 IPL for his fitness concern and upcoming cricket world cup. He was absent in IPL this year due to this.
