ECB said they will continue to take various strategies to popularize the game among the young fans. Those initiatives will include All-Stars Cricket Programs for five to eight years old children, 10000 kids are said to take part in this program and they will also have the chance to take part in All Stars Cricket taster sessions in cricket clubs when the tournament will get finished. ECB is hoping these initiatives will highly popularize the game for sure.

This strategy won’t only be part of boys. ECB will invest almost 20 million for women’s and girl’s team too for the part of their project.

ICC Cricket World Cup Managing Director Steve Elworthy stated the thing is related to popularize the game among the mass.

We started this plan almost four years ago. We set various projects and ambitions to inspire the young gen for cricket and have a positive impact on the game. We are working closely with ECB and other partners to promote the game and we already provided more than one million children with an experience of the World Cup. Hope, our plan to diversify the game will continue

ECB Chief Executive Officer Tom Harrison also emphasized the matter.

We set an ambitious target to reach out at least one million young fans and we successfully completed the ambitions. We are happy about the project as we successfully engaged with more than one million young fans. We will not back off and we will continue to do our work in order to mount up the game and draw many young people towards the sport.

This is overall a great and ambitious project to popularize this game among the fans. If this project gets a big hit in England, it will be great for cricket. England is the birth country of this game and a first world country. If there will be more English fans, then many first world countries will get the attraction to this game which ultimately diverse cricket across the world.
