New Zealand had lost the one-day series by 4-1 against India. The last match against Bangladesh was seen as the Kiwis lost two matches. Batsman of New Zealand, Martin Guptill has spoken about his team and their poor formation.

Guptill is watching the tough challenge in Bangladesh

The result of the match between Bangladesh and New Zealand is 2: 0. Bangladesh won the victory of the two matches. It seems that the matches were held in Bangladesh. No, it is not, even not in New Zealand. Bangladesh never lost Kiwis (New Zealand) in their home ground. Since 2010 Bangladesh has not lost one ODI against Kiwis in their home ground. Bangladesh is ahead in case of playing in a neutral venue.

The Kiwis already lost the match with India in their own cricket ground. So the victory can be hoped by the Bangladeshi fans this series. Martin Guptill suppose,

It’s going to be a tough series. Bangladesh is a very good team.

Guptill also mentioned about Shakib Al Hasan that he is not going to play in this series. But the challenge is rising because of various reasons.

The wicket was not as strong and fast as we expected,” he said. We could not cope like that. The real formula of the game is how fast you understand the conditions, you can adjust it, give the message correctly in the dressing room.

There are no other matches for the Kiwis before the ICC World Cup 2019. So its a last chance to make a good score.

Guptill also said,

It can happen in cricket. If you play well, then you may have to go through bad times. The back injury has happened in a very wrong time. This is what happens in professional cricket. Sometimes you will have to suffer the injury. But for the last few years, the injury has been repeated for me. Hopefully, I can clear myself tomorrow and get into the field with confidence.
