Both of them shared so many memorable things. Munna was like a big brother to him. Akram even gives him credit for the rising of cricket in this country.

Additionally, Munna left this earth in 2005. His birthday was on the 9th of June. Akram had a cordial relationship with him. Both had a deep respect for each other. As a result, Akram always remembers him. Akram also reminiscence the influence of Munna on cricket.

Munna always supports the cricket of Bangladesh. He gives us inspiration. I got captaincy of the Bangladesh cricket team in 1994. But, I had no experience of cricket before that. However, he supported me on this and was too happy for me.
