Ehsan Mani- the PCB Chairman discussed the recommendations with the board. Now they are going to advertise for the four available roles and will invite high-level applications from interested candidates. Mani thanked the PCB Committee for their review and was also expressed gratitude to the coaching staffs who worked hard during the World Cup. He said he is thankful to PCB Cricket Committee for submitting their recommendations following an exhaustive and detailed review process. Mani also added that

The unanimous recommendation of the Committee was that it was time for new leadership and a fresh approach. I am happy to accept their strong recommendations.

But on the go, he never forgot to thank Mickey Arthur, Grant Flower, Grant Luden and Azhar Mahmood for their hard work and unwavering commitment during their tenures with the national men’s team. Mani wished them every success in their future endeavors.

On the other hand, Mickey Arther is not so happy about the decision that the PCB took. He said that he has been hurt by the decision of not renewing the contract. But it is pretty common in all sort of games that poor-performing team’s coaches get fired after big events. We wish Micky better luck for next time.
