The 2020–21 Dream11 Super Smash is set to happen from December 24. Super Smash is a T20 cricket tournament in New Zealand. It will be the sixteenth season of the Super Smash competition. The Wellington Firebirds is the current champion of this tournament. As always, six teams – Auckland Aces, Canterbury Kings, Central Stags, Northern Knights, Otago Volts and Wellington Firebirds – will take part in the tournament in a double round-robin format in the league stage. On 15 June 2020, New Zealand Cricket announced the first round of contracts for domestic teams ahead of the 2020–21 season. The full schedule for the tournament was confirmed on 29 September 2020.
