Team News

As the largest competition of cricket is only two weeks away, both Bangladesh and West Indies get their final chance to show their caliber in tomorrow’s tri-nation final match.

If we count the overall series, this is undoubtedly the series for Bangladesh. They surely dominated this tri-nation series from the beginning. They have defeated the Windies team twice in a week and all of their winnings come with much comfort. Bangladeshi tigers really put a shimmering performance in every match and really did a great job before joining the upcoming world cup.

Whilst their last victory against Ireland comes with ease, but it was largely deformed by the injury of their superstar all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan. The news just scared whole nation, but the Bangladesh Cricket Board chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu assured Bangladesh cricket fans that the injury of Shakib Al Hasan isn’t that serious and it won’t affect his world cup chances.

As for West Indies, they began their tri-nation series with sweltering pace, securing a 196-runs win against Ireland. After beating Irish team with such a high margin, their performances didn’t light up much as they humbled by Bangladesh for two times in a span of a week and surrendered them completely without a fight. They were outpaced by Bangladeshi tigers in every department.

Weather Condition

The weather is expected to be cloudy in Dublin. According to the weather specialists, rain won’t come in the day but the weather will be full of cloud and cold.

Prediction

It’s pretty much confirmed that Shakib Al Hasan won’t be the part of the tri-nation final match. Despite his probable absence Bangladesh is expected to win the final as they still have talents like ”Cutter Master” Mustafijur Rahman, Tamim Iqbal, Taskin Ahmed, etc. It won’t be easy for Windies and if there’s not much drama, Bangladesh will be the winner of this series.

Final Word

Although Bangladesh is hot-favorite to win the final game, it is expected that the West Indies will put up a fight to save their reputation. This series is the perfect warm-up for both test status team as they will be heading for London right after this tri-nation series in the upcoming  50-over marquise event.
