Pakistani batsman Umar Akmal got an offer for match-fixing from his predecessor. Umar Akmal is currently playing for Winnipeg Hawks in Global T20 league in Canada. Mansoor Akhtar, the former batsman of Pakistan, offered him for a match-fixing in there. Umar Akmal didn’t do the wrong thing and took little time to inform PCB.

As per reports from PCB’s corruption handling sector, Umar Akmal informed the news to PCB and GT20 organizing committee. Mansoor Akhtar was also pa part of the management of Winnipeg Hawks.

Mansoor Akhter was a popular batsman in 80’s to 90’s era. The 61 year old former cricketer is well-known for his partnership of 561 runs with Wahed Mirza in first-class cricket. This record of him is still intact. He offered Akmal to fix few matches in Gt20 league. But, not a single news agency or reproter couldn’t communicated with him after the shameful incident.

The 29 year old right-handed batsman Umar Akmal failed to register his name on Pakistan‘s ICC World Cup 2019 squad. He last played for the Paksitan team in March. After that, he become disappear from Pakistan cricket team.

This isn’t new for Umar Akmal. He already got blame for match-fixing for several times before. Somehow, PCB or media failed to prove his guilty.

He previously told a TV channel in 2015 that he got multiple offers from bookmakers during the 2017 Hong Kong Super Series and also in South Africa tour. But, PCB and ICC failed to justify his claims. Now, they’re taking his recent claims very seriously. It seems Mansoor Akhter will be in big trouble.
