Ben Stokes admits the game against Australia is the biggest game of their career

Ben Stokes is not unfamiliar with high tempo games. The top-notch all-rounder of England already played plenty of big matches like World T20 final, a Champions Trophy semi-final and a couple of international games as well as Ashes series and IPL tournament.

Despite playing numerous numbers of high tempo clashes he feels this game is the biggest of his and his teammate’s career to date.

Eoin Morgan‘s troops are looking forward to marching into final for the first time after Graham Gooch‘s class of 1992 World Cup and fulfill the long-time dream of English supporters. This English team was investing heavily in the past of a couple of years by its board and they are willing to repay the investment.

Although England is playing on their home ground, history is with the current champion’s side. Kangaroos emerged as victorious in their past four World Cup encounters. Kangaroos also beat them in the previous clash in round-robin stage which basically threatened England’s World Cup journey.

I don’t think I have to prove anything to anyone. That incident(Bristol 2017) just opened my eyes to a lot of things and I don’t think I have to prove anything to anybody except myself. People can say lots of things but I don’t give a damn. I just want to do my own things.
