The alarm bell started ringing as this loss could effectively put an end on their hunt for the semi-final berth. But, this man didn’t let that happen by holding his nerve. He managed to score an emphatic innings of unbeaten 49-runs and snatch the victory from the hands of Afghanistan who are yet to earn a single point from the tournament. Haris Sohail’s intro in the World Cup was quite dramatic. He got the chance in place of experienced Shoaib Malik and enlightening for the team after that. He also scored a mercuric innings of Pakistan against New Zealand and posted 68-runs as Pakistan kept their winning streak by beating Kiwis by 6 wickets.  The match against Afghanistan wasn’t that convincing though. But, he will surely give his best to seal a very important win over Bangladesh.

The young pacer of Pakistan is in very fine form since the match against South Africa. Shaheen Afridi took 8 wickets in his last three games and it’s assumable that he will try to wreak another havoc on Bangladeshi batsmen. Bangladesh has a deep weakness in pace bowling. If he can effectively attack their weaknesses, the chances of Pakistan will increase gradually.
